How you can help us!

We started Stained Glass Atlas when visiting new places and realizing we had a really hard time finding great glass to visit while in that new city.

Our goal at Stained Glass Atlas is to document as much of the publicly accessible stained glass in the US and Canada as possible. Any glass that a person could reasonably access without entering a private residence and without requiring that person to be a member of any particular religious group is eligible to be added.

There are many ways you can help. Gathering as much information about the glass in your town and taking good quality photos is the biggest need. We can't travel everywhere, but you are already in your town! We also need help with data entry and research. See the list of resources below for more info on contributing. Reach out to us at help@stainedglassatlas.com if you'd like to help or have other ideas!

Thanks!

FAQ

The mapping service we use to geolocate addresses can be picky about address formatting. If your location isn't accepted, first double check that your location doesn't already exist in our data set. If it's not here try changing subtle things about your address.

Example: Change "123 North Street" to "123 N Street" or "123 North St." to "123 North Street". If you still run into issues email us at help@stainedglassatlas.com.
